Mundane Matters__Process Documentation | 2023

During the summer semester of 2023, I participated in the semester project Mundane Matters, developed within the newly established section of Experimental Studies at the TMD Department under the direction of Nadine Göpfert. The project introduced a new collaborative framework that encouraged collective responsibility, exchange, and more self-organised forms of working. As part of this structure, we formed several working groups that supported the development and presentation of the semester projects. I was part of the documentation group, where I was responsible for coordinating and organising the final photo shoots and editing the visual documentation of each project. Beyond these collective responsibilities, I independently initiated a photographic series focused on documenting the individual working processes of my fellow students.​ Through a documentary approach, using analogue and digital formats, I visited and observed the working environments and creative methods of my classmates, creating a visual archive that reflected the diversity of approaches, perspectives, and forms of engagement within the project. I understood this work not only as documentation, but also as a contribution to the visibility and recognition of the collaborative and process-based nature of our shared artistic practice.
