Hidden Areas | 2017

This work was inspired by a text of the Hungarian poet János Pilinszky, who was imprisoned during the Second World War. His poems from that time have left a great impression on me –– this large-scale painting was a reaction to his texts. This was the first work in this series, from 2017. Later on in 2019 I created a video work under the same title as a continuation of this project. Acrylic on paper 110 x 80 cm
